pretty much sync up with my experiences. The added power is nice but could lead to financial consequences :)
I have mixed feelings about all the controls on the steering wheel. The other day in a panic situation I was trying to hit the horn and keep striking the little buttons. Plus, they're not illuminated at night! We know there's power to them, would it hurt to figure out a nice way to light them since we need to use them?
My main beef is with the head unit. I love having the XM option, thought I would like the indash CD changer but it's slow, noisy and clunky. I hate the wasted use of the display. As anyone who's seen any other XM unit in action, it can display the channel number, name, name of song and name of artist all at the same time. Not our GM-hobbled units - there's one line of readout and you have to choose one of the last three. Often an interesting song will come on (that's the whole purpose, innit?) and I have to hit the little "i" button several times to figure out who's singing.
It's also clunky that the presets don't change when you change bands; sure you get more of them, but you have to cycle through them to match the band you're on.
Luckily the HK sound is still very good, so is reception.
