It seems that I ran over a nail on my way to work this morning--when I went out to my 9-5 at lunch, the front left tire was completely flat. AAA came out and put some air back in it, which allowed us to find the puncture.
Just now, I took the flat tire to the Shell station down the street from me in South Boston--they plugged the hole and put the original tire back on the car. It took about ten minutes, and they did it without removing the tire from the rim.
My question is this:
Is there any reason I should have that tire looked at by somebody else? Should I take it to the dealer or a tire place and have it checked out? The guy at Shell seemed conscientious enough, but never having had a punctured tire repaired, I'm not sure what the best method is, long-term.
Any recommendations would be appreciated.
