Yes, it sure is a noisy little bugger. I went for a ride in my uncle's 2001 A6 2.7 twin turbo and was amazed at how much smoother and quieter it was than my car. I did notice on my car that the rear resonator's outter shell is rusted through and the inner shell is very rusty too. With 160k miles on it I wouldn't be surprised if I had a hole. I also think I have a motor or transmission mount that's seen better days because everyone says the Saab V6 is a really smooth engine. Loud, but smoother. Disregarding the engine noise I love my car though. It has lots of oomph.
