My 2000 Aero went through a bunch of tires at about 12K -17K miles before being trashed because of unbearable noise and vibration. My 2003 Aero started the same way, but after reading the Tire Rack comments at length, I bought a set of Good Year F1's . They have worked wonderfully without rotation or any other special attention. The rear now have 40K and work just fine, and the fronts, with ~20K mi (replaced pair because of irreparable tear in one) also are silent. All still have tread left.
I'm not sure if this is an issue of the suspension or the tires. But no defects in the shocks etc have been discovered in the 2000 or the 2003. I think it's finding the right tire-even if the original cost is high.
