I would say that the TrollPod guy does not respond because he is too busy counting all of money that he has made by just posting some pictures of the guts of his old VCR that are duct-taped to an iPod.
The only communication that he does make is to reassure people that it's on it's way and that there is just one more reason that there are delays, meanwhile, people continue to follow the rest of the Brooklyn Bridge.
Since I did not take this "leap of financial faith" I now know what it feels like to be a pragmatist, while knee-deep in a socialist society.
I work with GM on a daily basis, so please let me say this, even on their best days, GM's customers should feel marginally confident at best that GM Engineers will come through with success. Therefore, if you are waiting for GM to assist with a product from which they have no foreseeable benefit ... best of luck.
A company with real Software Engineers would not wait for the Hardware Designer to lend a hand and provide schematics, they would test the SID device themselves. TrollPod would be far better off going straight to Autoliv, who more than likely designed the SID from scratch and sent the pertinent info to GM, so they could put their name on the title block.
