Use a small screwdriver or other such tool and gently pry the switch out of the dash. They are a push-in fit only. If you have heaters only, and no ventilators, it is easier if you pry out the blanks first.
Pull the switch out of the dash, disconnect the switch from the wiring harness, then use a spring type clothes pin to clamp onto the harness so it doesn't disappear back into the dash.
There are two bulbs per switch, each attached to a collar button sized circular base which is the twist-to-lock anchoring means. One bulb base is visible on the side of the switch, the other is hidded behind a square white door which easily pops off.
A pair of hemostats is a big help when extracting and replacing these lamps.
