The problem has nothing to do with your security system. It's the Crank Position Sensor (CPS) failing. When this thing goes you won't get anything when you turn the key. The no crank issue most commonly occurs when the engine has been driven, is warm, and is trying to be started again. Once it cools off it usually starts again, hence why it started 10 minutes after "playing with the remote." Do a search on the board. There is tons of information about it. They're pretty cheap to replace too I think.
