I completed the puny Garrett GT17 (LPT / Linear) turbo to the ARC aero on my 99 9-5.
It is not particulary difficult. The inlet/exhaust/manifold all bolt up.
However the oil & water lines have different banjo bolts ( thinner in to TD04) so will need to be shimmed (or lines replaced) before your can can be reliably driven - otherwise the turbo will fail from oil starvation very quickly. The Mitsu TDO4-HL-15-T comes in many variations ( most will not fit a 9-5 ( I have a kick ass Volvo 18T paperweight in my basement). Be patient & buy a 9-5 aero turbo from a junkyard or if you are rich from any of the reputable aftermarket Saab suppliers.
You will not see a whole lot of gain until the ECU is tweaked to matched the new potential.
