I have a '99 95 w/ 135k. According to a few techs the tranny is going out and needs to be replaced. It produced a huge thump when I put it into reverse once and was almost impossible to engage. Once engaged it performed okay but some slipping. I got it to my tech right away and there were no shavings in the pan. The numbers don't make sense to put in a new tranny. Do you have any thoughts on rebuilding or a used tranny. I have located a used one w/ 70k miles and can purchase a warranty w/ it. Does this make sense or should I just put it out to pasture. Body/interior/Engine/turbo/heads all seem to be in good shape. Thanks
