Flash to pass halogens?
Xenons need time to warm up and repeated on/off cycles without proper warmup time will result in shortened bulb life. Further, Saab employs the bi-xenon configuration in its lighting solution. Meaning, that when the driver activates the high beams a shutter is raised to illuminate above bumper level and into the distance. When you pull the stalk to highbeam someone the inner lights will illuminate; they are old halogen style bulbs I believe.
