I have been torquing my lugbolts and lugnuts to about 85 ft-lb (whatever the manual calls for) for years on my 900's, 9000, and my 9-5's. I have never had a loose one and they all untighten with about the same force when I remove them. I do put some anti-seeze lubricant on the bolt threads and the tapered part to prevent corrosion fom salt as I always run 4 snow tires in the winter and they use a lot of salt around here. I don't find that I need to retorque them at all and I have never had a warped rotor in over 30 years of SAAB's. I also put a very thin coating of grease on hub before mounting the wheel, being careful to avoid the rotors. I have never had a problem getting the wheel off. The dealer was doing the snowtire mounting and storage for the first few years on one of my 9-5's. The first time I tried to take the wheel off myself I had a heck of a time because they did not lubricate the hub and the wheels were corroded tight to the hub.
