Thanks for the info. This addresses a debate a few days ago that this problem might be Aero only. Clearly it is not.
As an engineer I am puzzled by this suspension problem. Just about everyone has it to varying degrees as seen though the cupping even with frequent rotation. Almost no one reports moving a trunk full of bricks. It is always everyday, normal usage. Now I would guess that Saab would use a design factor of a few times the normal loading. If that were true, how could the springs and/or subframes yield? My only guess is that the dynamic load sometimes exceeds the design threshhold (an engineering problem) and results in small yields over time. Enough load/miles adds up cumulatively to failed parts. Too bad the engineers in Sweden don't read the BB. They could get a lot of great feedback.
