....there definitely is a market for those ideas that made Saab special. I believe it will take a change in ownership of the brand to begin again to appeal to those of us who still love Saabs. I am convinced that we would come back in an instant for a car that trully embodied the qualities you outlined so well. I had my last hopes dashed when nothing became of the 9X concept. It was a dramatic and interesting multi purpose car. I believe the designer and then the car got shelved....or replaced with the the current 9-3 wagon...not at all similar.
I said today that when my current lease is up in 2 years, I'll be back driving a c900 convertible again...and probably another 9000. I expect to have the time again to keep them together....until then, I'll enjoy the luxury of my M. Nothing GM builds comes close to it, or my next car(s).
