The stock aero turbo Mitsui TD04HL15T from the 9-5 aero will bolt up to the manifold & inlet without any modifications. The only problem you will encounter are the oil & coolant lines to the turbo. The banjo bolt on the aero is narrower then the banjo on the GT17 - It will appear to fit but will leak oil & coolant & quickly fail. Two fixes replace the oil & coolent lines with aero lines $250ish parts. Another method is to shim up the banjo bolt with washers on both sides of the hose at the turbo end. That is the method done to my 99 9-5 a few years ago and is working fine. I did not do it myself but It has been quoted the washer is a M10.. Saabers please correct me if I am wrong on the washer.
Price wise -there is not much between a rebuilt Gt17 & a TD04. The TD04 has two advantages - tuning potential & less likely to have a seal fail at 80ish K miles.
