Can anybody that is 6'9" be comfortable in any compact or mid-size car? Is it physically possible? lol..
Which year A-4? The 2006 and up seemed to have more room in it than the 2004 model that we looked at when we bought the 04 TL. We ended up with the TL since my wife is 6' and I'm 6'2".
Also with my feet (size 12) when I'm wearing a dress shoe that has a lip on the sides and front that hangs out (or wearing boots) my shoe seems to hit the brake pedal when trying to use the clutch or gas pedal if my feet aren't in the exact right position. Also, the tips of my shoes hit the panel underneath when wearing "larger" or "wider" designed shoes. I'm wearing dress shoes now almost all the time and it's getting annoying.
I'm averaging ~28 MPG in this "mixed" driving that I'm doing presently. I drove home last night (45 miles) in sleet/slush/snow/freezing rain in the 9-3 and was passing SUV's, trucks, and all-wheel drive cars with no problem. Trip took a little under 2 hours. I have Vredestein Wintrac snow/winter tires on the 9-3 until Spring and those combined with the 5-speed make the car an absolute tank in bad weather.
Is the 9-5 as good as the 9-3 in the snow/bad weather? I feel the 9-3 is a little light and can get pushed around a bit by piles of slush or snow.
BTW, I was surprised that the 2007 A-4 weighed 150 lbs more, and is 6 inches wider than the 9-5. I thought it was smaller in all dimensions than the 9-5.
