'00 9-5 ACC Code 04

Hi all,
This is actually my first question to this BB. I am a long time Saab owner, but just got my first 9-5 a couple months ago. 7 previous Saabs however and a long time DIY mech. I have done pretty much anything and everything with C900 and 9000. But, I have to say, this is (at first glance) a complicated beastie.
Anyway, I am having intermittant problems with the mixed air temp sensor LH (ACC error code 04). Sometimes it shows the code, sometimes it doesn't.
When the car is warming, it all works fine. Then, I will get a few minutes of cold air (outside temp) followed by a few minutes of warm air and the cycle repeats. I assume what is happening is that as the sensor warms, it shorts, then it cools and works again until it's warm. I bought the WIS CD and have looked at it, but again, this is an entirely new beastie to me and very little is familiar.
I am also getting a Code 19, but if all that means is that it will take a couple more minutes to warm up, I am not going there. But I am wondering if the two malfunctions are possibly related?
Any and all advice appreciated.
