Almost all new models have it - but double check just in case. It is a huge improvement over everything that came before it. I was able to get reliable navigation in downtown Boston using the internal antenna. A feat like that was impossible just a few years ago.

Personally I am extremely happy with my Mio C310x. They are currently on sale at FRYs.com for $189 w/free shipping. It has 1 GB built in flash and has maps for the whole US. It also has a SD card slot for the extra maps - I have loaded maps of Canada and all Europe (although this requires some search on P2P). It is essentially a PDA - if you start it with a certain combination of buttons pressed it just switches to WinCE screen. If you do not like the included iGo software you can installed something else, e.g. Tom Tom Navigator. Although most people like iGo just fine. You can also istall software to view pictures and movies if you like it.
