Sounds like he performed "PCV update #6" which is the right thing to do. ALL earlier 9-5s need this update.
the oil pressure switch is known to leak on any car. On our cars, you have to remove the starter to get to the oil pessure switch. so its a bit of a pain. every car I have owned eventually leaked through the oil pressure switch. (saab, gm, toyota, etc)
so, at nearly $950 total that too much. You could have saved some money at a reputable indy, or maybe even by shopping around dealers. If you are so inclined, both are could be done in an afternoon at home for <$100
