The only reason he's looking for paperwork is because the salesman said he would mail it. So the dealership is the place that actually told him that he needed to have some paperwork. I suppose I could call my dealer and have my service manager confirm it for me since I have a good relationship with them (not the selling dealer).
I couldn't get them to print an IRIS, even though my Dad asked twice, and I asked myself twice. Didn't think it was a big deal because the car is CPO. I guess the reason my dad wants the paperwork is to actually see the terms of the warranty, what it covers/doesn't cover, etc.
