Well i decided to replace the condenser with one from Goldwing. If i tried to repair it id still have to pay to have it all evacuated and recharged, and then maybe still have to do it all again. The pipe is very small and there is not much to bite on for a repair, and i dont have any facilities to make the best go of it.
Also I have to sell the car so i dont want to have a sale fall through at the last minute cos the pipe fails again or they see a dodgy repair.
But watch out for this one - best way to prevent it is to drill through the bobbin mounting and put a bolt right through to stop the potential for chafing through the Condenser pipe.
Listen out for clattering or rattling under the front end when going over rough road.
