The cost of the software was 940, plus a few dollars for shipping. it is about 40 dollars more than most other ecu upgrades, but hey, I get the whole unit and etc. It is mostly plug and play, you plug it in, it reads your car, and then you plug the unit into your comptuer and via internet you upload the software to their systems and then they send back the upgrade software after just a few days, (they hey say 1-5 working days, took me 3) then you upgrade. you can go back to original at any time, and if they have new update software they just give it to you via internet.
I got the unit at parts for saab. They had the best price I saw. Elk parts has the same system but they charge quite a bit more for it.
list of upgrades, (not many...)
cold air induction (K&N open air filter)
SMBC (best 25 bucks ever spent)
and now the upgrade from BSR
will get New exhaust within a week or two.
