Anyone with any good ways of carrying a 16'10" Old Town Discovery?(Purchased 25 years ago at the age of 15 washing dishes at $3.05 per hour).
Just picked it up from my boyhood home (folks moving to FL). Used Thule load bars and load stops in the standard upside down configuration on the 350 mile run to NJ. Was wondering if there was a good way to secure it without a tie over the front hood. I see a lot of kayaks now strapped with the top open to the sky. Will this work with a canoe?
Thanks in advance.
