Hrm odd enough I switched out all my pioneer speakers that came with the cars premium sound and went to factory harmon kardons. had them laying around. But anyway I keep popping the left front speaker put two harmon's in and with 2 days poof rattle tattle all the way home. Sounds like voice coil seperation from over extention. Anyyyyy way the pioneers were cracked on the outside paper, so I figure my listening level is my main problem....what can I say I typically jam when Im cruising down all the empty state highways that seperate me from the city. What is a good speaker choice form the two dash sides, center seems to be holding up just fine. does anyone know the harmon's wattage? and what about ohm's, Im sure saabs factory deck runs 2ohm's so thats what I will need? I was even considering just fitting a set of good 1" tweeters up there but I don't think it will be enough mid's with that. Anyone that has jumped this hurdle would be greatly appreciated..... I was also wondering Im sure I screwed up here. I added the back tray speakers by splicing into the back door speakers wires under the floor. *pain in the rear btw* but i was told the amps are the same for prestige and premium....so can I run those wires to the amp then? open pin slots or something? Thanks TO ALL.
