During an sudden exceptional flash flood this morning my significant other's lpt 9-5 stalled out in water that rose to door level. She said for a moment the car was floating. She kept the doors closed until the water subsided. No water entered the passenger compartment. The SID says "Check OK" or whatever but it does not turn over and not even a click from the starter. The car was towed to a local shop. What damage can we expect? Is there a chance that water would reach the turbo and engine? Would immersion of the starter for 30 minutes fry it. Unfortunately there was no way I could get it to a place I could tear it down myself but I could pass on any useful information to whoever is working on it. Thanks in advance.
