nothing happening at all may mean the starter is shorted out.
However, check your manual. There is a safety feature meant to shut things down--at least the fuel pump, maybe more--in an accident. And when the car was floating it might have been tripped.
And since you get a "Check OK" light on the SID there could also be an immobilizer issue--basically your anti-theft system may have kicked in. Did your S-O turn off the car in the flood? That could have triggered the immobilizer, especially if she removed the key.
Have you tried locking and unlocking the car with the remote?
Once it runs, change the oil (maybe tranny fluid) in case any H2O got drawn in. Maybe brake fluid, too? Not sure.
