I've got the BBS 2-piece 17" on my '01 Aero. 2 of the wheels are starting to corrode, having lost the plastic finish coat or whatever it is. Check on the board - powder coating is the way to go. I can't get mine redone until it's time to switch back to snow tires/steel wheels, but I've found that a double-coat of Wheel Wax makes keeping the wheels clean very simple. No scrubbing, no acid-based wheel sprays (they accelerate the corrosion process anyhow, despite what the labels claim...just ask any pro wheel refinisher...)
Plain carwash soap and water, a couple swipes with a foam brush - the wheels are clean again! No scrubbing. Amazingly easy. So far, my Wheel Wax has held up well; I applied it before I put on the summer tires last spring. Still going strong.
