A month ago I bought a new set of tires to replace the worn out Avon's and took the car to a very reputable alignment shop. I went there in the past and was satisfied with the service.

When I picked my car up - afterhours - after work, I noticed that the computer printout read "type: Saab 98-03 9-5 non sport suspension - 17" wheels"

I called them the next day expressing concern because my 2003 Aero is as sporty as you can get. They asked if car tracks straight and handles normally. It did so they said not to worry about it.

Since then I've put on 1,000 miles, now I'm not sure if its the softer sidewall of the Potenza 960's but the car just doesn't seem to handle the same. I've had to perform a semi-emergency manuver the other day and I almost rolled the land rocket, it feels like my old Blazer going down the highway. Today I had the wheels turned a bit and gave it good gas from a standstill....the traction control light went on and tires squeeled.... these are brand new 960RE's...

I thought their if "it drives straight it's fine" response was a little in bad taste. Should I pay again ($100) and have the car realigned this time insisting they use 03 sport suspension specs or specs other than 98-03 without sport suspsension - 17" wheels? Can I come back after 1000 miles and insist they re-do the work? Also, I've misplaced the computer readout. (yes, I know..)

Arc's and Linear's done have 17" wheels spec'd from the factory? Ya think they used the wrong setting?

Thanks!
