So my wife calls me today to tell me how my '03 Linear about shut down on her. She said it was shifting erratically and got to a point where it would stall when coming to a stop (CEL and gearbox lights came on). My neighbor owns a shop and so we had it towed there. He pulled codes P0733 & P0734.
The car has about 73K for mileage and we did a flush with Toyota Type IV at about 61K miles so I'm praying my tranny's not shot. I've been trying to baby the care (always letting it warm up in the morning before driving...idle at shut down).
WIS is saying "faulty gear ratio" for 3rd and 4th gears for the fault codes.
Any ideas?
