I'm concerned about my head bolts. I've already been diagnosed as having an oil leak at the head gasket altho it's pretty minor. A reputable indy has warned me that the serpentine belt is catching some and that this is very bad for it.
Unfortunately I can't spring the repair they're asking right now (replace gasket, check head for true and plane if necc.) so I'd just like to make sure the bolts are properly turned for peace of mind.
I've tightened many head bolts, and in older SAABS too but not on this beast. Are there step by step instructions somewhere on line that might clue me in to what I might encounter (like will I have to re-silicon a valve cover gasket or something...)?
Thanks in advance.
