This requires attention now. It sounds like the camshaft drive chain rattling. If so...

It may indicate a worn camshaft drive chain, worn guides or a worn chain tensioner. It will continue until the chain breaks. You have a couple of choices.

1. Diagnosis the problem now and repair as required. This is the cheapskate approach.

2. Keep driving until it breaks. Two things will happen...1. you will need a tow, and 2. you will bend valves and have to replace the head in addition to all of the stuff that was causing the rattling. This approach is not for cheapskates.....you will feel the need for a small amount of wealth.

Kidding aside....you really can't keep driving the car; at some point in the future it will break. The good news is that it quiets down after the car warms up. I had these symptoms on a 9000; a new chain tensioner solved the problem.
