It's a matter of personal taste, but I think the 2005 is better looking than the 2007-2008. The 2005 wagon has a much better-looking tail end. Also, a 2005 will be very reliable -- most of the glitches and bugs had been worked out by then. So, a 2005 with 45K on it is good for another 100K - 150K miles, you can buy it for around $23-$24K, you know the whole history of the car.....where are you going to get a deal like that?
