So you found a used engine that you supply and a shop that will install it and give you a 2 year unlimited mileage warranty on the job.
WOW! That seems like a great deal.
I can tell you that you wouldn't get that deal from me.
3 month warranty on the engine is usually the standard when a shop supply the engine but if the customer supply the engine, I would only guarantee that it is installed properly but not leave any warranty on the engine itself.
Even with a brand new engine it is usually 12 month/12K miles warranty as a standard.
I don't know how much damaged the old engine received, but sometimes it is possible to save them by rebuilding the cylinder heads with new guides and valves.
