9-5 Linear, 2001, 100+K miles) I have limited sight and I know the PCV oil chamber separator is under the intake manifold some where. I have a bad oil leak of very black oil and have concluded it is coming from the separator, collector/separator box, I am a total loss as to how to find/remove/replace this item and would dearly appreciate someones help. also, what is this talk about the PCV update that I have heard mentioned where can I get the parts reasonably. Should I purchase a complete PCV replacement kit? (don't know if it provides a PCV update)
Any help would be appreciated (a Tech Page or something?) and the person who suggests that I pull the engine will be on my list forever! That has already been suggested! There must be an easier way. Thanks fellows
Leak Number 2. is a clean oil leak looks like PS fluid but PS is dry and all lines tight (Clean rag check) Oil pan bottom is completely wet and dripping occasionally. I have solvent washed the under side of engine and removed the shields but can not find source of oil. Crank pully is dry pan bolts all tight, chain tensioner resealed, Oil relief valve resealed what else? HELP thanks.
