It is too big for the engine compartment. It is very tightly wrapped and components are inaccessable without removing alot of other stuff. Try getting the lower part of the intake manifold off. The wiring harness that runs over it is bolted to both sides of the engine and the bolts are difficult to reach to say the least. I had to replace one that had been severely overheated and even out of the car the thing is Rubick's cube. The plumbing and heat shields for the turbo interfere with each other when you have to remove anything. The rear bank spark plugs are harder to get to than it looks. I could go on.
