and my last car (1990 Acura Legend 5spd) was coming due for a clutch at just before 200k (I sold it at about 201k w/no clutch done).
My clutch in the saab is fine, although there is very rarely a tiny bit of slip if I'm really pushing it and misgauge something. Typically if you have the engine rpm's matching correctly to the speed in the gear you are engaging, and get off the clutch promptly before really tagging the accelerator, you should get fairly high clutch life.
Even if you drive in the city. My driving is mixed, and includes a fair amount of stopped bumper to bumper and block to block driving.
