My '02 is a low mileage vehicle Posted by adl6009 [Email] (#2526) [Profile/Gallery] (more from adl6009) on Thu, 3 Jan 2008 07:03:18 In Reply to: Major services: Mileage or time based?, ece97, Wed, 2 Jan 2008 11:39:47 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
When I bought it from the dealer it was a 4 year old car with 8k miles. At that time I requested the 30k service which they performed before I took delivery. But if you look in the manuals the older cars are listed by mileage and time, not with my 2002. It's listed by mileage only. I have worried about this myself. Good sense dictates all maintenance be done when needed. Fluids should definitely be changed on a time schedule. Maybe common sense says I should write to saab USA and get their opinion in writing in case of any future warranty claim. I have about 6 months left on my cpo warranty and I have only 35k on the car.
