it went back to not working in a day or two.
Pop out the switchpack then carefully pry it apart. you can squirt some contact cleaner in there and work the switch back a forth. That should lclean the contacts and put the switch back in working order.
Note that I have not had much luck with switch cleaning in terms of a long lasting fix. They always seem to degrade over time.
I bought a used switch and keep it in the trunk ... Just in case the switch fails again, and it's on a warm rainy night (and you know it will)
