Dealers are to install this clip at no cost to owners. It might be limited to specific model years. I don't recall receiving a recall letter for my 2000 model, so it might be a "special warranty" item to be performed when requested by owner.

The fuel lines are secured to the pump assembly by nylon clips with barbed legs. The nylon can age, resulting in the barbed legs releasing. this clip is a more positive mechanical means of keeping the lines secured.
