In the Dallas area Sewell has 3 SAAB stores, so there is really only one dealer. I don't know who you talked to, but it doesn't sound like the Sewell I know. This is my 3rd SAAB and my partner owns our 4th. When the AC compressor failed on the old 9K we had, Sewell was out of loaners. They RENTED a car for us at no charge. And this for a car that wasn't purchased from them. I am the first to say that Sewell ain't cheap, but NEVER have they given me bad advice. I am not saying they are perfect, but they did advise me that if I lost ALL keys and fobs, that replacement included a new black box which would be very expensive. Don't really know how to say this, but the fact that you distinguish yourself as a Northerner gives me reason to question. Having lived a lot of places, I have always found it better to become a local as opposed to telling the locals that is not how we did it back home. No offense, but I am Southern and I resent the implication that because I am, I cannot appreciate a SAAB.
