Roger, my windshield wipers stopped parking themselves, now I have to turn them off at the right moment manually. This happened after driving in a snowstorm (NE Indiana) and the snow was so packed under the wiper arms they couldn't return to the park position. Seems I damaged some component that tells it to stop. So, after reading your post and some of Tony's posts, I am wondering if there is some sort of similar device in the main wiper motor, he referred to it as a resettable fuse. Might the polyswitch fix might be applicable to the main wiper as well? Thanks for any input!
