Until I open up one of my headlamp wiper motors, I don't know if his 9000 fix will work on a 9-5.
From looking at the schematic diagrams for the windshield wiper motor and headlamp wiper motors in my WIS, the headlamp wipers have one additional electrical component. I am guessing this component is the resettable fuse I just ordered.
The windshield wipers use a cam operated switch to provide the park position. The cam inside your wiper motor may have sheared on the shaft which destroyed the park function, or it may just be loose. I have seen used wiper motors listed on e-Bay. From replacing my fan motor last summer, I know the windshield wiper motor is fairly easy to swap out.
