Anders,
I would have thought that the timing belt tension device used by Saab would be an automatic type however the repair procedure speaks to measuring the tension on the belt using a gage. How critical is this setting and what type of gage do you use? I see that Gates markets a gage that is available by order at parts stores. Is this gage acceptable for this measurement?
