The a/c in my '03 9 5 worked fine until it began getting really hot this month. It will still work, and blows extremelt cold air, but if the car has been sitting out int he sun unused for a few hours, then it can take up to 20 minutes for the air to get cold, although the norm is more like ten. It blows hot air until it turns cold, and in 95 degree weather, this can make you SICK! If I stop the car and leave it for a short time, then come out and start it up again, it's fine....it's just after sitting for hours that this delay occurs. Does this sound familiar to anyone? Could it be the freon, or the seals? If the cold air does come on, it wouldn't be the compressor, would it?
