There is a run I do often of about 250 miles each way on the interstate during the summer. This is the route I have turned my best and most consistent mileage. Once along part of this run (~290 miles of it) I turned 35.x in my '06 9-5 manual sedan.
I have seen 34.x more frequently but that was hard to get. However, 33.x (33.8 seemed to come up frequently) was my norm. In fact, on that run only once did I drop below 33 mpg last summer and that was 32.x in the rain. In winter always significantly lower.
I do this trip almost always with no or little A/C (but windows often down) running a very steady 75mph with cruise over much of trip.
However, the above was almost exclusively with non-ethanol premium fuel. The ethanol blend clearly extracts a toll and that is mostly all I am finding to pump here now. Not sure exactly how much yet but it looks like I won't be seeing the above numbers any longer :-(
