First, let me just say that as everyone has said over and over, replacing the sparks and DI is a pretty easy job. Thanks to everyone for their great suggestions.
I am planning on doing all the sparks and both DIs on my V6 so today I decided to do the front DI just to make sure I didn't really screw anything up. Well I got the DI disconnected and the sparks out with out a hitch but in finishing the last torx screw on the DI I accidentally lost my extension and the torx connector, totaling about seven inches of metal. It fell and I just heard a thud on what I believe is the covering on the bottom of the car but for the life of me I can't see it or seem to get to it.
Any suggestions on how to recover this from the car? Can I just drive and hope it falls out? Should I try to jack up the car, I don't have my own jack by the way. Or should I just take it a local garage and have them get it for me?
On a positive note, even though I think the rear DI is the culprit, my car started fine after a couple of cranks and seems to sound a little bit better, cant' wait to do the rear DI tomorrow!
