Very sluggish accelleration

Looking through lots of really old posts on this subject, it appears many of you in the same boat as I am probably still have the same problem despite replacing lots of stuff..
In short, my car (a 2000 LPT auto sedan, 65k) has intermittant fits of VERY, I repeat VERY sluggish accelleration. Many times it is so bad that starting from a dead stop, I can floor it, could to about 15 before the car will even reach 20mph..
Thing I've replace/repaired:
-New DIC and plugs
-New throttle body
-All new vaccuum hoses everywhere
-New turbo
-New MAF
-New catalytic converters
This car has been to the shop so many times, I feel like I'm related to my mechanics. They can't fix it. The dealer didn't fix it. Now I'm basically tired of replacing parts and getting nowhere. Seems like quite a few others here have experienced these symptoms and had no resolution that I can find. If one of you has, please let me know...
Of course I have never driven another 9-5 to compare this car's performance with, but I've had many other saabs, including a non turbo, auto 900s which I can say for certain was faster off the line than this car most times- so I just know its not right. I really love the car, but its just no fun to drive this way...
