I have had a quicky oil place strip the drain plug and then tell me it came in that way.
I have used quick lube with success in the past, but I would do the change mysself. Tips:
1. go to eeuroparts.com and order a couple of extra drain plugs and washers.
2. The plug has 13mm hex, but the actual plug has pretty large diameter. I use a 1/2 inch impact socket. 1/2 is a very snug fit on a 13mm drain plug.
3. use a hex impact socket.
4. replace the washer.
5. replace the drain plug with a new one if you have any doubts.
