Replaced them, finally. But, I noticed that the blade on the passenger side did not have the airfoil [same Valeo manfuactured blade, thought].
Also notice that the metal inserts were different from the passenger side, though the rubber was the same. The metal inserts on the driver side had 'pincers' facing in to snag the rubber, and also out to lock on the blade slot. Both blades also were 22.5inches. The metal insert on the passenger side was the 'square notch type'. The blade's slot on the passenger side had been pinched to snag the rubber. Makes me wonder...
Are both blades on a 9-5 windshield supposed to have the air-foil?
Are the blades/inserts supposed to be same size and form ?
Am I overtly suspicious that the dealer replaced the passenger blade, incorrectly, sometime before I bought the car ?
