a) Saab repair parts carry a 12 month warranty.
b) The warranty clock stops when you complain about something. If you complained about losing coolant, they can't just take the car in, park it against the wall, declare it fixed, and then say "oops, your warranty just expired, it'll cost you your first born to repair it". Or whatever they did. It's the complaint, then the effective repair that complete the warranty transaction. No repair, then the complaint still stands even if months ensue. That's why it's important to get anything that "seems funny" as a symptom on a repair order before warranty expiration.
c) Saab water pumps are pretty reliable. If you need a third one, you might suggest that the tech RTFM before installing it. And escelate the issue to the zone manager.
