Vacuum lines are the little skinny 1/4" or less rubber tubes that run all over, most of which start at the throttle body. Definitely, definitely definitely go get the CEL read before you go through all the hassles of taking things apart and especially before you put that new turbo in because chances are you don't need it. According to TheSaabSite, here's how you test the bypass valve:
"One can test the bypass valve to see if it is faulty by removing the vacuum hose from the intake manifold and applying suction to the hose. If the valve is faulty the suction applied will not hold creating a vacuum leak. A leaking bypass valve will often cause the car to stall when coming to a stop! "
If it is the bypass valve you'll get a code P1110. Please go get the code read and come back to Saabnet with it. We'll be able to help you out A LOT more. Good luck!
